two more picks :D, got crocs on em ahah xD

yea got two more picks today, dunlop gator grip .71 and .96, i found that the tortex was too thick and stiff and got these two, they both have sharp-ish edges and make a cleaner sound due to that with a bit more edge

.71 is great for chords and any of that type, .96 is a perfect replacement for my old tortex as its great for the high speed playing and the like.

i cant really decide which of em i want to use since they both are good for different things, (.71 is better for notes at the top of the board and .96 is better for the notes at the end) though i feel ive found a good successor to the tortex

though tortex is good in its own way as it makes this really smooth sound cos of the round edges, and makes a heavier sound since its the thickest.

But lets face it, the gator grips have a louder sharper sound, its easier to play with em due to less resistance and somehow the notes pick out better when playing at the 10 to 18 frets.

oh well i think i have found nearly the perfect pick for me, but id wanna test some more, who knows there might be one even better suited to me ^_^

A proper online tuner

I found a proper online guitar for once

http://www.seventhstring.com/tuner/tuner.html

Its different cos it uses any microphone attached to your system, be it a webcam mike even in my case, listens to your guitar and determines what tuning its on right now, very very useful for the ppl among us that cant tune a guitar just by hearing another guitar sound, that requires a good deal of practice and ofcos doesnt give an accurate tuning.

To make the best of the tuner one i believe its good to know what the tuning's frequency is...for me thats the easier way to fine tune, wikipedia has a nifty page for all guitar tunings and types and its frequencies

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_tuning

Well then, this wud be the last time i have to wait to borrow my friend's tuners :P, life just got a hell load easier, thats it for now, back to practice XD

Found my old pick!

YAY i found my old peavy pick, well now that i found it, i compared it with my dunlop one, and well the dunlop is thinner and harder....and even more purple too O_O, so there.. kinda weird but now my main pick is gonna be the tortex, maybe its good that i lost it in the first place hehe.

Nothing much else to post about really, just practicing as usual and in the process of acquiring an electric guitar

Thats it for now, laters
