another pick! >.>

How irritating, i lost my purple peavy now o.o. Well i got a new one instead of waiting arnd, me new pick is a Dunlop Tortex 1.14 mm, and its purple too and got a turtle drawn on it....

It feels the same as the peavy to the touch, but its a lot harder and rigid..and well this is the hardest pick to use thus far, but makes the most pleasing sound actually :D, im not a fan of ringy sorta notes when i pick, and this pick gives out a rather solid sound, but i get tired a lot faster practicing with it anyways due to the higher resistence..no resistance aint the right word, this pick doesnt even budge when i chug on the low E string O.O, and to think this is one of the thinner picks available in the Tortex range....

Many a pro player uses Dunlop, and they have a point, they make good picks ^_^.

Other notes, i took out the yellowish plastic bit that the strings rest on at the bridge, and smoothened it out with sand paper...the strings were kinda diggin into the material and were stuck in grooves which reduced the harmonics in my opinion, cos right now they are really ringing xD.

I actually smoothened it out in hopes of lowering the height of the string from the fret board, i know how acoustics are meant to have the strings abt a centimetre abt the fretboard but its kinda annoying to play then, and well, though i shaved off a few milimetres off the plastic piece it wasnt a noticeble difference to the pitch, oh well, who cares, the guitar sounds better now, so floats my boat.Guess thats enuf said for now.
