But not the point! besides that its the same damn thing! D:, mahogany body and neck, set neck joint and same string thru body bridge D: . It was no small wonder then that my guitar had a very thick, heavy crushing tone when plugged into a marshal amp, and that was without any effects pedals or anything O_O.
And for all of u geniuses....in electric guitars the shape of the instrument does not affect the sound whatsoever, what counts is perhaps the weight (as in size) as that affects sustain.
This is quite an unexpected coincidence...as soon as i get my recording gear ima post a hell lot of arch enemy songs then XD.
Feel like getting a guitar similar to Chris Amott's instrument ( he was the one holding the fancy tail guitar) for my lil brother sometime :P. See its funny becos mike and chris are brothers too :)
I just picked my guitar when i did becos that was the only instrument i found in maldives that was made with mahogany wood, the rest of the crappy unbranded stuff im not even sure what kinda plywood it was made from. And also becos it was a string thru body so restringing the instrument would be a piece of cake, and ofcos changing tunings. That would be very convenient for a beginner like myself.
But as of now i am still stuck without any sort of amplification, yes they open new music stores and have grand openings and crap, hell they bring drum kits, violins, trumpets, hell the place was full of new guitars (not one of them as nice as my one though *smug*) and concert sized amps and they forget to stock up MINI PRACTICE AMPS! this is quit infuriating, i cannot state my anger in words so i will go back to blowing the house down with some speed metal.
Thats it for now.
